The program requires access to Epic-integrated Zoom virtual visits.

To access the Monday 1-2 pm live streaming FINER chronic pain workshops, just click the “Calendar” for the free Zoom link on the appropriate date.

For live participation in Monday FINER workshops at Foxboro (20 Patriot Place, Community Room 2A/2B), 1-3 pm, you may Self-Schedule through Patient Gateway (www.patientgateway.org), as a patient of Dr. Kurz, and/or schedule via: 508-718-4375.  Live participation is recommended for active movement, group connection, and engagement in workshop themes.  Limited Walk-Ins accepted as well.  In person participation is documented, billed to, and covered by healthcare as part of an effort to integrate FINER into clinical mainstream care.

To be considered for the next virtual 8 week bi-annual FINER program, please consult with Dr. Kurz.  The virtual program typically runs through the Fall (Sept-Oct) and Spring (March-April) seasons and involves a 1-hour Zoom participation commitment, Tuesdays 6-7 pm.

The virtual program is covered by healthcare and designed for individuals suffering from chronic pain who have not found satisfactory relief with current conventional pain care approaches.  Virtual FINER group candidates should be compliant with a non-pharmacological, non-interventional, mind body approach to pain management.  Evidence based pain psychologies, including PRT (pain reprocessing therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and mindfulness meditation are involved.

For Zoom reminders and resources, you may request to join integrativecarefoxboro@gmail.com

For assistance, please contact Danette Welch, the FINER Administrative Director.

Please make sure you have access to a secure, reliable internet connection (full bandwidth) and register in advance to make sure you can log on correctly.

Please keep an open mind.  You may be asked to engage, participate, and exercise some new mind body and pain psychology skills that will be taught during the class.
